Project Runway is an American reality television series on the Bravo network. The program focuses on fashion design. It has won popularity as a Peabody Award-winning series. The contestants in the show compete with each other to create the best clothes and are usually restricted in time, materials, and theme. Some are eliminated every week based on an evaluation of their designs. In April 2008, the producers, Weinstein Company, announced a relocation of the show to Lifetime Television beginning with season 6. Lifetime is planning to shift production from New York City to Los Angeles. The show was created by Eli Holtzman. Until August 13, 2008, the show has completed 59 episodes.
